I picked these up at a Pro Shop, and my 9 yr. old son (has been playing travel hockey for 5 years)just told me to please buy 4 more pair! He also said - why did you spend $17+ on socks? - After their first wear, he loved them - they're a little tough to get on at first, but the support, feel, wicking features, etc. make it all worth the money. Although I haven't yet washed them - I'm sure they'll be fine - if not, I'll add an updated comment. - He loved the colors too!

Had been looking for a while for a good wool skate sock. My son (7) complains that his feet get cold (sweat + Cotton = cold). These have been great- problem solved.

They were very tight on my son and uncomfortable, I bought them for him for Hockey, my son is 11, I was hoping they would work out, but in the end returned them!
